ACE Hotels
The Smeg FAB28 has once again been selected as the refrigerator of choice by the international design world.
ACE Hotels – a chain of urban hotels catering for the coolest of globetrotters (renowned for paying particular attention to aesthetic research) – has chosen these refrigerators to complement the decor of the suites of its New York hotel, which is strategically positioned between Madison Square Garden (a temple for sports and major international events) and the legendary Fifth Av (icon of the cosmopolitan jet-set).
The collaboration, born from the desire to give hotel suites cult appeal through significant design intervention, has been developed to support ACE Hotels' idea to offer the public a new experience based on the concept of staying in a "friend's cool loft".
To carry out this project, they have relied on decorative features such as the FAB28, which rises above the clichés of the traditional hotel minibar and looks the part amidst the high aesthetic and design inspired content.
