Smeg introduces new improved FAB 50’s style Retro Dishwashers

Smeg has updated the specification of its freestanding and integrated retro style FAB dishwashers.

The new models (DF6FAB-1 freestanding model and the DI6FAB-1 built-in model) can accommodate 13 place settings and are even more energy efficient than their predecessors, using only 10 litres of water and 0.92 kWh electricity. 

Both models offer 9 flexible wash programmes, including Speed 27 min, ECO Quick and Strong and Fast for thorough cleaning of heavily soiled loads in under an hour and 5 wash temperatures ranging from 38°C to 70°C. The Orbital wash system ensures perfectly directed water jets throughout the appliance cavity for excellent wash performance and a greatly reduced noise level at 42 dB(A).  The Enersave option allows the door to open slightly at the end of the drying cycle which can save up to 20% energy.  Other convenient features include the Delay Timer, height adjustable upper basket, stainless steel filter and Total Aquastop which is fitted to the water intake hose and monitors water levels in the cavity, detects leaks in the hose and automatically switches off the water supply immediately when necessary.

For ease of installation, the integrated DI6FAB-1 has rear levelling feet which are adjustable from the front.

The freestanding model comes in 6 colours: Lime Green; Red; Black; Cream; Pink and Pastel Blue whilst the integrated model comes in 4 colours:  Red; Black; Pink and Cream.
