Nathan Robertson, 34, has had a hugely successful Badminton career with a Silver Olympic medal in the mixed doubles in Athens 2004, as well as taking the titles of England Champion 2005 and World Badminton Champion 2006.   

This year he won Bronze in the European Mixed Team Championships and is currently English National Champion.  Robertson has recently taken delivery of a stylish Smeg 50’s style retro fridge to complete his latest renovation project at his Rushden home in Northamptonshire.  Delighted with his new purchase, Nathan said 'I have always loved Smeg appliances and have had previous Smeg fridges for many years.  I’m lucky enough to have a home bar in my new house and I thought the finishing touch would be a retro black Smeg fridge next to the bar to keep all the drinks cool… hopefully with many celebration evenings after the 2012 games’.

He is currently undergoing rigorous training in preparation for the Olympics next year, planning to bow out of professional badminton on a real high, with a flourishing finish in the London 2012 games.
